Tamarindo
Where the Pacific meets the classroom.
Situated on Costa Rica's Gold Coast in the heart of Guanacaste, our Tamarindo campus combines academic excellence with the natural wonder of the Pacific. Students engage in hands-on learning, from marine biology in nearby tide pools to environmental studies in the tropical dry forest.
Our founding campus, serving Pre-K – Grade 12 since 2016. Minutes from the Pacific Ocean, students learn to surf, explore marine ecosystems, and develop a deep connection to the natural environment that surrounds them.

Court, field, and beyond.
Tree-shaded courts, open fields, the skate bowl, performances, and the Pacific just minutes down the road — every day at Tamarindo moves.

Days at Tamarindo
A school where the line between classroom and campus dissolves — and where animals, art, and the people around you all do a little of the teaching.

Veterinary Science
Sheep, chickens, pigs, ducks, guinea fowl, cats, and dogs are part of daily learning. Students help care for them alongside Dr. Leti — science rooted in stewardship and learning that truly matters.

You are loved here.
Walk through Tamarindo and you find the same message painted across our walls. Belonging is the foundation everything else is built on.

Made by hand.
From the student skateboard art exhibit to murals to instrument-making, creative practice is woven through the day — not bolted on as 'art class.'

Competitive Sports
Journey Jaguars compete at regional, national, and international levels in basketball, volleyball, swimming, soccer, and more. Our athletes develop teamwork, discipline, and excellence on and off the field.
