Our Mission
We are an international, project-based school offering a personalized curriculum in a dual-language setting to students from 2 to 18 years. Journey School is also a vibrant and inclusive learning community empowering students to think critically, creatively, and independently through instruction, interaction, and modeling. We foster active exploration and quiet reflection, individual endeavors, and collaborative engagement. We are interested in the pursuit of truth, understanding, and the common good.
Grading Scale
Our grading system values both the process and the final product of learning. Student GPAs are based on a 1–4 scale, prioritizing meaningful growth, creative thinking, and deep comprehension over traditional metrics.
Registered UCAS Centre
A direct pathway to UK & international universities
Journey School of Costa Rica is an officially approved and registered UCAS Centre. UCAS is the centralized admissions platform used across the United Kingdom, letting students apply to UK universities and international programs through a single system. As a registered centre, our college counseling team provides official UCAS resources, application support, and guidance for students pursuing universities abroad.
